Leslie Major’s work with business owners is grounded in a lifetime around small business. She grew up on a family-owned dairy farm, where she learned early that ownership means responsibility, discipline, and long days that don’t end when the clock says so. That foundation shaped everything that followed.
For more than three decades, Leslie has worked alongside small business owners—as an operator, advisor, and CPA. At 26, she purchased her first business, deepening her understanding that real success isn’t just about growth, but about building something that can endure and eventually transition.
Leslie is known for her ability to connect financial clarity, operational discipline, and long-term enterprise value. She helps owners understand not just how their business performs today, but what it is truly worth—and what it could become.
Today, Leslie works with founders who want to scale intentionally, regain control of their time, and prepare for an eventual exit—whether that transition is years away or already on the horizon.
Leslie Major is a certified public accountant, business advisor, and serial entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience working with and advising small business owners.
Raised in a family business and later becoming an owner herself, Leslie understands the weight of ownership—financially, operationally, and personally. Over the course of her career, she has bought, grown, and sold multiple businesses and advised hundreds of owners across a wide range of industries. Her work focuses on helping founders move from being indispensable to their companies to owning businesses that are scalable, transferable, and positioned for long-term value.
As a CPA with more than two decades in public accounting, Leslie brings deep expertise in taxation, financial strategy, and business operations. She is especially skilled at identifying the hidden constraints that limit growth and exit readiness—whether in systems, people, cash flow, or decision-making.
Leslie holds a Master of Science in Accountancy with an emphasis in Taxation and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Boise State University. She has also served as an adjunct accounting and business instructor at University of Phoenix, where she taught courses focused on practical application and real-world business leadership.
In addition to her advisory work, Leslie has long been involved in leadership development, entrepreneurship education, and community service, including Toastmasters and nonprofit organizations focused on strengthening leaders and businesses.
Leslie lives in Idaho with her husband, Marshall, and enjoys life with their three adult children. Outside of work, she thrives on challenge and adventure—backpacking, waterskiing, and travel—and brings that same discipline and perspective to helping business owners build companies that support both freedom and legacy.
